**2. Bible Story (10 minutes):**
- Read the story of the Good Samaritan from Luke 10:25-37.
- If time permits, you can act out the story or use puppets for better engagement.

- How did his actions make a difference?
**3. Discussion and Group Activity (10 minutes):**
- Divide the class into small groups and give each group a chart paper and markers.

- As the children color, play soft Christian music in the background.
- Walk around the room and encourage students by discussing their colorful artwork and relate it to being kind.
**5. Kindness Coupons (5 minutes):**

- Explain that they can use these coupons to do kind acts for others.
- For example, "This coupon is good for a free hug" or "This coupon is good for helping with homework."
**6. Closing and Reflection (5 minutes):**
- Ask the students how they feel about practicing kindness.
- Encourage them to use their kindness coupons throughout the week and share their experiences in the next class.
- End with a prayer thanking God for the ability to be kind and asking for opportunities to practice kindness.
**Assessment:**
- Observe students’ participation during the discussion and activities.
- Collect the charts and coloring sheets to check for understanding.
- Monitor the future classes for students sharing their experiences using the Kindness Coupons.
### Extension Activities:
- Initiate a "Kindness Wall" in the classroom where students can write down acts of kindness they've seen or done.
- Organize a class project where students can perform a collective act of kindness, such as visiting a local nursing home or organizing a small fundraiser for a charity.
This lesson plan aims to ground students in the moral and spiritual values of kindness as taught in Christian doctrine while making the learning process engaging and interactive.
